Building Commissioning is a process to verify and document that a facility and all of its systems and assemblies are planned, designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained to meet the Owner's Project Requirements.* Integrated Green provides comprehensive building commissioning services to address building performance, operation and maintenance including the following building systems:
- HVAC and air distribution systems
- Plumbing and piping systems
- Heating and cooling plant equipment
- Electrical and Control systems
Some of the specific building commissioning services/deliverables that Integrated Green provides are:
- A commissioning plan/schedule including team members’ roles and responsibilities
- A test plan showing how each test will be accomplished with expected performance parameters
- A list of findings and potential improvements for design phase and construction phase activities
- A training plan and schedule
- A final commissioning report detailing findings and recommendations
- An operations manual documenting how to optimally operate and control the system, including special instructions for energy efficient operation and re-commissioning
Our staff is also experienced in completing the building commissioning requirements and forms necessary to achieve the prerequisite and enhanced commissioning credit for projects seeking LEED® NC certification.
