Services>LEED® Charrette Facilitation Services
One of the key steps in the LEED® certification process is establishing goals for the project. Integrated Green can facilitate a design charrette for the project team to discuss priorities and establish a shared vision, core objectives and environmental goals. The earlier a LEED® charrette is facilitated, the more likely the project will achieve sustainability success, but even if the project is well into the design phase, we can still assist your team by using the charrette process to determine any changes in course that should occur before proceeding with the project.
Our approach is to include all Project Stakeholders including the Owner, Design Team, Builder, Facility Managers, Community Members, and others with an interest in the construction of the building. We explain the benefits of the charrette and ensure that all participants have an opportunity to engage in dialogue and provide input. These “brainstorming” sessions identify Design and Sustainability objectives as well as obstacles that might impede successful certification. At the conclusion of the charrette our team will provide a LEED® scorecard showing the LEED® credits that the charrette team has decided to pursue and a report that can serve as a guide for the design of the project.
