LEED Project Management

(Client: Amana Contracting & Steel Buildings, Dubai, UAE)

The Dubai Maritime City Yacht Repair Facility will consist of 23 workshops capable of handling all types of yachts and is situated on 82,000 square meters of reclaimed land at Dubai Maritime City. Integrated Green Building Solutions, LLC is providing LEED project management and sustainable design and construction consulting services for the project which has a goal of achieving LEED Silver Certification.

Construction Waste Management & Surplus Materials

(Client: Yale School of Medicine, New Haven, CT)

Yale School of Medicine is undertaking major renovations to several research laboratories and offices on Chestnut Street in New Haven, Connecticut, including: partial replacement of MEP systems, removal of existing furniture and casework, windows, roofing, interior partitions and insulation, floor finishes, suspended ceilings, plumbing fixtures, electrical components and fire safety equipment. Through its Eco One Solutions, LLC subsidiary, Integrated Green is helping Yale achieve its Waste Management goal of 95% or higher recycling and reuse rates. E1S is auditing all end market recyclers and is assisting in the selection of haulers. We are providing on-site training and consultation for the duration of these projects and producing monthly Waste Audit Reports. In addition, E1S is managing the IAQ Planning and monitoring during constriction and prior to occupancy in compliance with LEED credits EQ3.1 and EQ3.2. E1S will be submitting templates for a minimum of five credits towards these projects’ LEED Certifications.

Executive LEED AP Training

(Client: Amana Contracting & Steel Buildings, Dubai, UAE)

Integrated Green Building Solutions, LLC provided a 40 hour preparatory course for the LEED Accredited Professional examination for the LEED New Construction version 2.2 Rating System. The course focused on each of the LEED NC v2.2 prerequisites and credits, providing an in-depth explanation of each followed by a series of hands-on exercises, project case studies, and take-home quizzes. The course also explored the LEED certification process and how to act as a LEED AP. The course concluded with a 2 hour timed sample test. After completing the course, the first Amana Buildings’ executive to take the LEED AP examination passed.
